Admitting to actually wanting to do violence is pretty serious, for a guy like him, but he's mad all over again, just thinking about the way Bob had looked and how the whole time, he'd been so cloyingly nice, so phony.

"I told him it was a joke, and that it didn't mean anything, but then he said that if it was a joke I wouldn't mind if he showed it to the other guys in the creative department, and I guess I just... I panicked, so I tried to grab the card back, and at that point I didn't need to say anything because he could just tell from the way I was acting that it wasn't a joke. So I fucked up. I fucked up."
