Sorta what the gloves are about.

For a while at school they were experimenting with energy draining and stuff. I'm the first Andromedan there, didn't really know what to do to stop me, k'know, breaking everything.

So what did they end up doing? I mean, obviously the gloves are helping, since you're not actively destroying the table -- although that'd be pretty cool, but I guess you shouldn't really do that in public, since you'd get us both kicked out of here -- but even with the gloves, you're bending forks. That can't be easy.

I just had to learn to control it better. Everyone's got stuff to work on growing up, right?

I guess. Not usually that kind of thing, though. Usually it's stuff like learning how to read, and dating, and whatever else it is kids your age do.

Not much dating to do on a spaceship with the same eight people every day.

You could date one of those eight people. Except then if you broke up, I guess it could be really awkward. It'd be like me dating someone from my office.

Someone from your office you also share a bunk with and can never get away from.

Believe me. I've thought about it. Don't see it working that well.

Actually, that's kinda how my office is, too. I'm there pretty much every minute of every day. In fact, I sleep there sometimes.

But now that you're here, you can date whoever you want. I mean, within age appropriate reason, of course.

A lot of things are theoretically possible. Like eating all the pizza in this place. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen.
